Jack Veneno's Managers

we are Jack Veneno's business managers in the Dominican Republic. Jack was contacted by a promoter who wanted to bring Jack to NYC to "speak" at an engagement (not a wrestling show). The promoter never paid for Jack's appearance, not even a deposit, and never sent plane tickets or even told Jack it was a wrestling show. Jack never agreed to be a part of the "event". Jack is retired from the ring, but unfortunately unscrupulous people attempt hit and run jobs like this to sell tickets. Jack's family had received calls saying he was billed to appear. Who is this promoter? We have plently of legal representation in NY who might like to pursue this. In the meantime, check out www.luchalibrevive.com and view the trailer to Jack's new documentary movie. All people interested in working with Jack should contact us there as well. Jack loves his fans, and thanks you for your support throughout the years.

Kazuo Ishiguro: Never Let Me Go
So many friends raved about this. But I realized I get impatient with gothics. Must be the obligatory genteel reticence of it all.

Ed Park: Personal Days: A Novel
A comedy of social manners for the cubicle age. Nicely plotted even when it dips into the absurd. But I could'a done without the tour-de-force punctuation-less email that ties all loose ends.

  • Hanif Kureishi: Something to Tell You: A Novel

Hanif Kureishi: Something to Tell You: A Novel
A bittersweet sequel of sorts to Buddha of Suburbia and Beautiful Launderette: What happened to all of us old brown punks now that we're middle aged.
